DFID/IRC EIE Project

Kanem Borno Human Development Association (KABHUDA) is one of the 8 Civil society organizations selected by the International Rescue Committee to implement the DFID supported education project in Borno state for 2 years with end date of May 2019. The project commenced in October 2017. Below are the details of the project.

Programme Facilitators (Instructors) Training Session in Maiduguri

KAHUDA will ensure 2100 out of school 6-14 year olds in Jere spread over 72 learning centers have increased opportunities to learn in a safe conducive environment which is responsive to their needs.

The project has 5 staff and is to manage 72 learning facilitators. The centers have been established and are fully running in Jere LGA of Borno state.

The project has 12 members of staff and is to manage 72 learning centres. The centers have been established and are fully running in Jere LGA of Borno state since March, 2018.

Project status: 72 non-formal centers and 32 formal school support centres have been established in 9 public primary schools in the Maiduguri city portion of JERE LGA of Borno state where 3,040 pupils are benefitting from the education project.
